Joins hands with Almoayyed Int’l Group

Agil Freight Logistics Pvt. Ltd, an India-based leading freight forwarding company, has opened its first overseas office in Bahrain.

The Bahrain office is a joint venture (JV) with Almoayyed International Group (AIG), a reputed and leading business conglomerate in Bahrain, with interests in IT, office automation, communications, safety and security, etc.

The new JV firm—Almoayyed Agil Freight Logistics—will offer international freight forwarding, logistics and shipping services initially between Bahrain and the rest of the world. Subsequently, the operations will be expanded to the entire Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), comprising six countries, as well.

Agil Freight Logistics is a Chennai-headquartered Indian freight forwarding company, duly licensed as a multimodal transport operator (MTO) since 1993. It operates nine offices in India, offering international freight forwarding, shipping, logistics and removal services.

AIG was established in 1979. From being pioneers in IT, the company, which is ISO 9001:2000-certified, has expanded into areas like office automation, communications, safety and security, infrastructure installation, packaging, electrical and instrumentation systems, freight and logistics, media, properties, etc.

Besides being an industry leader in a slew of sectors in Bahrain, AIG has touched base in the UAE and Qatar as well.
